Saare Golf, which opened in the summer of 2008, is the first golf course on the popular vacation island of Saarenmaa. The golf course is ideally located right next to the new Spa-hotels of the city of Kuressaari. Despite the location adjacent to the city, the course itself is set within the beautiful nature of the island. To eliminate the threat of flooding, nearly 1 million cubic meters of ground was moved to shape to all areas of the course.
